Got the Timm Moore drivers downloaded, installed and confirmed capture working via CapDVHS.exe and channel changing working using channel.exe -f 2 (channel). Integrity pro 8 1 15. I did this long before I even posted. However, I used a different archive from a different site for the drivers because the DCH3200 is a fairly new product. CapDVHS is a D-VHS Capture Utility. It allows you to capture an MPEG2 Transport Stream from DVHS Player via firewire. Remote desktop manager 4 6 0 enterprise. Also allows the archiving of HDTV Transport Stream files back onto DVHS.

I have used this software and had it working, now I can't get it to work I think there is a problem with the codec now. I get an error message after I try and open it up in windows media and I get the following error
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.
I am not sure what codec I need to get it to work , I had been installing different codec and I think I messed something up.
If someone can help me out it is much appreciated. This software works great when I had it working properly.

Capdvhs Firewire Drivers Windows 7
I use this to capture unencrypted digital video from the firewire output on my cable box and save it to my hard drive.
You can set a start and end time much like a VCR, but the control is very basic and it will only record the station you have tuned on your cable box.
It's interesting that even the analog cable channels come out of the firewire port in digital format.

Great tool for what it does. I use it constantly to transfer my DVHS tape captures to my computer. Works great for HiDef or Standard Def. Also can be used to do realtime-no tape-captures direct from DVHS VCR (at least with mine, JVC HM-DH30000U).
Much better than the buggy DVHSTool in my opinion.

Major Player Location: Bloomington, IL | Congradulations Dylan on the camera purchase. Vegas will capture and recognize the 100 without the Cineform. I'm using Vegas 6 (upgrading next month) but it captures fine in 6. One thing you need to check is to make sure that your using the vegas internal capture utility. The normal window that pops up to capture dv footage won't capture hdv. I suggest opening the help menu and in the contents do a search under the heading 'HDV'. It will list items like capturing, editing, etc. Under the capturing section it tells you how to turn off the external capture program and capture using the internal program. For the 100 you won't need any drivers, just a capture program, which you already have. Hope that helps. If it doesn't just post again, I went through the same search when I bought my used 100 last month only to find that everything I needed was there I just had to set things up properly. Ben |
